Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I'm going to ponder that today. I've got a rough day today, and I pray my brain is just building it up to be worse that it will actually be.
But, I made a list yesterday, and prepping a document for today was the top priority - I was still working on it at 11:30 last night!!!
So, yes, I've got to stop the procrastination on the unpleasant things in my life, and move on.
Thanks for the thought for today - very appropriate for me.
(I'll check out the link later - sometimes, thinking of this thing actually does cause my heart to race, and my head to feel like it's going to explode - feels like it is some type of panic for fight/flight reaction - hopefully the link describes coping to get through the moments)
As for me, things in my head that didn't "need" discussing with another person...ah, ya big spoilsport!!

The only issue I have today is right between my years with that said grateful when that happens I can identify the problem and correct it.
True gift.
Stay well my friend.
We recover by the steps we take, not the meetings we make!
I've found I can put almost any problem life throws at me through the steps, and / or the tools I've learned in AA. Sometimes its as simple as writing it down and putting it into my god box. Sometimes I need to do a thorough 4th and 5th on something specific. I do a daily written 10th step and often discover I owe an amends.
Anyway on it goes. If we arent growing away from a drink, we are moving toward one.
