Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I understand, however, that many people can learn to moderate. Perhaps you can learn some skills or something from HAMS, or Moderation Management that will allow you to do it.
Good luck.
I'm so grateful to be at home, with my family, chilling out on a Saturday with zero thoughts of wanting to drink.
Soon, thoughts of drinking will subside and the day of the week will have no effect on you at all.
Grateful to neither have a drink in hand nor want to drink.
Just takes a little time before that freedom kicks in, and you deserve that. :)
I was "dry" tonight . . . and only one big "surge" of desire, which went away pretty quickly. I feel asleep in the living room watching TV, but not because I was drunk. Because I was so relaxed, and had a belly full of stew, and a blanket over my legs. It was an entirely different feeling waking up with the TV on. Relaxed, but heart not racing from having been passed out drunk. A much better place.
