Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Looking back, I can see many of my mistakes. I have severe OCD Pure "O" harm and suicide, google pure "O" it's the worst OCD a person can have, there are also other themes, I may also have Relationship Pure "O". If you are interested in psychology and don't know what it is, check it out. I'm a dumpster fire! You will see how much of a train wreck I really am and why. I worry about everything. I am always keyed up and on edge. Anyone can make me angry and defensive if they hit the wrong nerve. I'm like a balloon and when I pop I explode or implode, however you choose to look at it. There are so many things that can trigger me. I have a constant stream of "What if's" running through my mind constantly stressing me out. No wonder I self-medicate. I'm terrified when I'm not sleeping. It's not an excuse, I just realized why I am so uptight! I don't realize it when it's happening but I'm cosntantly worrying. I'm on meds, but I have never really found anything that takes the edge off. Realizing this is big for me, I have a counselor who will soon be reading this. I need to know how to shut it off! I use alcohol to numb my intrusive thoughts of worthlessness. I knew I have OCD Pure "O", Anxiety, Depression and Tourette's, but this just hit me like a ton of bricks. I have too much alone time and I put myself in a never ending trance of worry and depression! The problem is I haven't found the off switch! I'm messed up! Can anyone relate? Ted

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Today I make an attempt to change the record I’m playing. I turn on some music and when I’m getting ready for the day , I make an effort to tell myself , I’m ok today. I will try to make my day a good one. I find that the mind is powerful and it will listen to the things I tell it.
Sure I get into fear, that’s basically what it boils down to, throughout the day at times. I just take deep breaths and tell myself it’s ok and be calm.
Tell yourself things are ok, it is ok. Life is waiting, go out and get it.
