Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
In totally surrendering my brain to a higher power, I have taken great steps in calming my brain down.
I learn alot of stuff about myself by working the steps.
These are some of my top character defects, I am very aware of them now.
I truly believe that the only way to get rid of some of these CD's, is by total surrender.
Best of luck to you.
My DH also taught me something very valuable. When I would run around in a dither with so much stuff to do, he would ask me "if that doesn't get done right now, is it going to matter next year? next month? tomorrow?"
I realized that much of my rush and chaos was created by me. Much of the stuff just isn't that important. Somehow I assume that all that stuff is important, and the more "important" stuff I have to do, the more important I am. So I create stuff to do so I can feel important - talk about ego.
So now, I feel that the less I have to do, the closer I am the my HP.
