My husband like my glasses also. Says they give me that "Naughty Librarian" look.

We're the same age. I got my first pair of "bi's" early last year.
Such are the joys of getting older.

I have worn glasses since fourth grade...perfectly acceptable people wear glasses but I do not like fuzzy food either....once when I first tripped on LSD I had to eat dinner with my parents we ate in the family room off tv trays at that point in my life and I had a plastic looking hamburger that I did not really eat much of...if any...lol
hallucinatory drugs were my down fall at age 20 I had completely broken down and needed mental health help for the rest of my life because of those drugs...but I got sober along age 38 or 37

I have eye implants!!! Kind of like contact lenses, except on the inside!!!! I love them!!! And supposedly, they last forever!!

I got my first pair of glasses in the 6th grade. I now wear contacts and reading glasses too that are 3.75's and I still cannot see very good. I have to wear them to eat also. Looked into lasic years back but they couldn't make my eyes any better for $1,500 an eye so I chose $80 a year contacts and $10 reading glasses.

Too many drugs, to much alcohol and old age setting in...damn life is good!! Its funny, we treat our bodies like shit then are shocked when its starts giving out!

I have had to ware reading glasses for about ten years now. I blame it on my youth if only I didn't read those magazines with only pictures in then mainly women with the occasional good story. And read National Geographic i am sure my eyes would have been in better shape.
