Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I was trying to respond to a post and cut myself off some how so I will try this way.
I have gone a ferw days without drinking and it was not a big ordeal. Like I said before when I do drink it is usually fast and hard. For example I can do two doubles and a beer in one 30 minute tv show, as a starter. The times when it will be the hardest is when I am in Mexico and in the local casinos. The booze folws freely and it is easy to get a snoot full. I feel like I have the strenght to resist but it will be hard in Mexico. I am on day two. Looking forward to sobriety. Also I am a diabetic so I shouldn't be drinking in the first place. Thanks for listening.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I will pray for you....
God Bless
When I went to Vietnam, there was an Aussie staying at the same hotel. He went out drinking every night. I got up in the morning and went looking at the sites. I had a great time. He only saw the bars. Sigh! There is a lot to see in Mexico beside, the gambling. I am now studying about the Maya and Aztecs. I would love to go to Mexico and see the archaeology as well as enjoying the culture.
