Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I am holding on fast on being grateful even if I don't believe it that's whats keeping me going. I want to be appreciative besides my demise. I want to know that it is going to be okay and that I should never give up and believe it, as much as I thought it was a cliche. Today I am holding on to that positive with all my heart. I don't have a choice but to just hold on.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
Amen.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

‘Taking this world as it is, not as I would have it’.
A great example of accepting and, at the same time, wanting a change is someone who steps on their scale and isn’t happy with the extra weight they gained, knowing that in this moment it is what it is but, at the same time, deciding to have fruit for breakfast.
