I'm celebrating today! I'm also shocked at how quickly it went by, once we got it rolling! I've been saving some little tiny fireworks things in my dresser drawer, I think tonight is a good night to let them go... Kaboom! Crackle crackle snap! They're going to be so pretty in the snow and ice!

I was a little shaky, approaching a milestone, because I've heard of people relapsing when they get there and take inventory... but the truth is, some parts of my life are SO hard right now, so frustrating, so... seemingly defeating... But if I were still drinking, I would not be addressing them even, I would be in hiding... in the laundry room, sluggin' down the boxed wine... Instead, I hold my head high, and plow on through...

I reset my goal today, that's another way I'm celebrating. Took down that measly little ONE YEAR, and put up a bright and shiny new TEN YEAR. That was intimidating. And I thought, who the hell do I think I am, at first. But I'm going for it. Sometimes, I have to be honest here, sometimes, that little number ticker dealio, counting the days, that was what kept me going. It helped me to focus, keep my eye on the prize...
