Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Make things happen. Go out and get you some sober.
It is the most wonderful gift i ever gave myself

PS. I still need to work at it each day. I do a couple of things: Pray, and talk to some other alcoholics. I try to stay in the middle of the road. I try not to let the "life" things that WILL come up,
C'mon!! Take some action, take control of your destiny. LIVE
I feel the same way. Also, I am very calorie conscience, so I don't know what I was thinking when I was pounding down drink after drink down my throat.
Even though I am aware of the months I haven't had a drink, it is just easier for me to just wake up sober and start my day.
I am not 'missing out' by not drinking. It is the complete opposite,
I am missing out BECAUSE I was DRINKING.
So much easier to stay clean than to get clean. I like that one. So I am holding onto this sobriety for dear life NO MATTER WHAT. If I die hanging on to my sobriety so be it. Better than dying a drunk. Sobriety to the death this time. I know I don't have another quit left in me.
This time I am fully involved in AA. I have a real good sponsor and am working on step four..Going to cookouts, kayaking on the river going out with a bunch of fellows to hang out or go eat after the meetings.Getting phone #s and calling them! Opening meetings, chairing some meetings.
Working the program like I should be!
