Just had a thought to come on here today I havent visited for so long Great to see that some folks I remember are still on here people like Ex Jersey girl &Sticky wicket Still around offering support & encouragement

I know the main board went through phases of being quite factionalised but was usually supportive most of the time. I actually found all of the sub boards helpful in tbere different ways.
Coming on here when I was in the first couple of years sober reading & comunicating with people like Coogeemum, Nemero, Oky and who's to say and many many more was such a vital part of my recovery. Ive read today people have moved on in sobriety & I guess I'm one of them I will be 10 years sober in summer hopefully & owe so much of it to all the people I encountered on here So if your quite new to this sobriety thing keep on coming on here every day for as long as it takes Sobriety is Amazing My sincere thanks to everyone who has been on here in the last 8 years RIP Nemo & Chris

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
