Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Take up your china doll, it's only fractured and a little nervous from the fall.....In my early days of sobriety these words spoke deeply to me. I felt broken (as I mentioned in my last post) and it was comforting to see that I was'nt irreparable. Just bruised from falling down so much (metaphoricly speaking). As I slowly put my sober days together I began to realize that I was still here despite all the burdens I had put myself through. And this realization continues to inspire me. It is the fear of engaging with life that scares me yet as a simple sober caring man I know that the worst is behind me. I love myself now and that's enough to encourage me because I'm not alone anymore. I'm here and I'm alive and I know who I am. Fear loses it's hold.... So much of fear is resisting to be healthy, the habits in the mind that go around in cicles of a worn track. Stuck.... The first time I said to myself, i have a problem here, I'm stuck, is when I first began feeling relief from that nameless fear. I'm going to name it now, inertia, stagnation. Now we know. Freedom from fear is finding the intension to walk right out of that deep rut and head in a new direction. Scary, sure, the unknown is, yet It's better than stuck. Be well friends:)

I accidentally deleted a journal entry that I wish I hadn't. Is there any way to get it back?
