Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I've read a lot and have been thru many detox programs and self detox.
You sound positive thou...that's huge.
I often had problems with incontinence when drinking, if I was going home to see family I would stop for a few days to avoid the awkwardness of it happening in someone elses bed.
A few times, mum would wake me up with a face like thunderusially on the morning of day 4..."were you drinking last night??!" No, I said and I meant it...the bed I was in would be soaking from the sweats and sheets would be discoloured, this horrible acrid smell ...as others have said withdrawal usually peaks on day 3, body just kicks it out of youe system any way it can...through the skin.
Ewwwwwwww :((
Hope things are better on day 4

Went to dinner with a friend last night, he drank and I stuck to my iced tea. It didn't bother me at all.
All shakes are gone, very minor headaches left, sweats are still there.
I'm just pissed about the hot water heater...lol
Hey, you're a male. I had double night sweats, if you get my drift!
Sorry if that was TMI...
