Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Not sure what to say exactly. I know I have a problem but I don't know how to deal with it; I have very bad depression/anxiety, the only time when I don't feel suicidal is when I drink. Its starting to affect my health/life now though and I want to stop but as soon as I start feeling bad I reach for the bottle. I need help finding a new way to cope.

I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I really think you should begin your recovery by making an appointment to see your pcp who can evaluate you and discuss treatment options for you. It sounds like your depression and anxiety are your triggers, and once you get them under control through medication and/or therapy, then staying sober will be much easier.

Also, AA meetings are always free. The 12 steps of AA was the best therapy, I ever had! Good luck!
