Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

You admitted yo uhave a problem. You admitted you can't do it alone. You are taking responsibility. These are all giant leaps for an addict. Well done!
Sobriety is very exciting, and very rewarding.
21 days is a marker I remember in my sobriety--the times I quit for a while and even this go which I hope to be my last (9 months tomorrow!). I was VERY impatient and still dealing with bouts of anxiety at that stage. My body was sort of in shock---like "what the Hell? So I am not getting ANY alcohol? Is THAT what you're telling me!?!" It wasn't too long after that mind and body were on board and I just had to fight the voice--the cravings telling me I could have a night of drinking.
Stay honest with yourself as you clearly have been doing, noted by those aforementioned courageous steps. It does sobriety a WORLD of good. Good luck on your treatment. I sincerely wish you the best.
Wishing you the best for your treatment, friend. You're in my prayers! "GoAllTheWay"
