Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

You've swaped booze as your god to your BF. Until you can put your sobriety ahead of everything else..it will be precarious.
So yes, go to a meeting. Do you have a sponsor? Are you working the steps? If not, to either of those you know the suggestion right?
Yes I have a sponser & I'm working the steps
I do not take anything for granted.
Just don't know what would happen to me without my bf he got me to AA & is a great support.
I hear what Sticky and Nicky are saying - I would suggest that although you have anxiety about your relationship with your boyfriend, one good thing is he is introduced you to AA.
Whether you split with him or stay with him don't let your emotions over that throw you off course with your recovery. AA will be there for you with love and support in fellowship no matter what. Boyfriends come and go, but sometimes some of us only get a limited number of chances for recovery.
