Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Ask the pharmacist your question...they are very knowledgeable and helpful (It seems you didn't feel comfortable asking your Dr?).
I had a problem a couple of weeks ago with my stomach and the pharmacy was open 24/7...at CVS....I didn't know what product to by and I asked the pharmacist and I told her that I thought my problem was drinking related and that I had not drank in 3 days...and she was very helpful. And helped me chose the right product for me and my problem.
I also took Antabuse and would even go so far as drinking a huge glass of milk and even eating a stick of butter. I was so far addicted that I just could not stop drinking and tried many things to prevent alcohol from getting in my body.
The thing that finally pushed me over the edge was a desperation. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired The trick is to just get enough time so that being sober outweighs being drunk. I miss booze but I don't miss being chained to it.
Keep up the meetings. That was what saved me.
