Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
peace!
Just kidding, hope you feel better. Your husband sounds like a very caring man, it's great that he was honest with you. Don't fool yourself girly. When you feel better, or even if ya don't feel better but start wanting a drink, call someone or get on here. It helps!
Get well dawg, I was just about to send ya a message saying good thing youre sick, it may give the obession time to pass.
i use to like getting stomach viruses, it would set me up for a diet, but after 3-4 days, i would eat myself out of house and home anyways.
I want to mention that the fact you are discussing this with hubby and not going out and hiding is an AWESOME part of growth on your part.
PEACE, MARK
I totally agree with your post, except for the heading. It should read, "My (remove little) Miracles." You see, the heading is wrong for two reasons:
1.) God doesn't perform small miracles...just infinite miracles.
2.) Anything that keeps the booze outta' ya' is an infinite miracle; NOT a little miracle.
We addicts are masters of understatement. Anything that detracts from the power of God and the fact that you are still sober is a SEVERE understatement; that is, dead wrong.
Good going on staying sober! I hope you feel better.
