My Aunt was 35 when she died from drinking. Her liver could not handle all that booze.

Very sad and sadly not unique. I'd guess we all have friends, relatives, etc. who have died from booze. Its a deadly disease. So so sad.

A guy from my group tried to get sober and then went back. Now he was already pickled already. He went to drinking again. his liver failed and his wife called 911. The ambulance got there and he refused to go. That night was his last. Really shook me up because one week hes sitting on the same seat each day then one week hes dead.

This disease is bad juju. Another thing I have to say is another guy was just buried last week. He was an oldtimer with like 25 yrs. One day after he came back to try to get sober he shared and said ... One day i just turned into the liquor store and could not stop from going in. the obsession came on him after 20 plus yr. he would up drinkin and went to another state and they found him in a motel room. dead

Another person i talked to . dead.

Keep the eyes on the sobriety prize. its a reprieve. i am never cured. i need to remain smart and not drink at all costs

somebody told me once.. Dont drink unless your @ss falls off. and if that happens... pick it up and take it to a meeting..
