Glad you enjoyed the party

Isn't it just awesome to "be there" and enjoy an occasion in sobriety ?? And being able to remember what happened the next day !! Now that I finally "got it" and am fully involved in AA, my life is great !! I have so many blessings in my life, the best one is being able to be the Mother my daughter needs.

M, it's so incredible to witness our children's success! And you've been a big factor in her success. You and your daughter are in a place that all mothers dream of. Imagine where your relationship would be if you were still drinking. Wow, what gratitude you must have.

I love sharing my kids' successes with them and can be there for them through failures. Been sober since Oct 16, 1992. Have I always been a perfect parent? The answer is no. Have I (through sobriety & with God's help) been a damned sight better parent than I once was? YES!

I've been able to make decisions regarding my children, keeping their best interests at heart, rather than my own agenda or what's easiest for me. And I know you have too.

Congratulations and bon voyage to your precious daughter as she ventures off into adulthood!

My bit as a non parent is that I'm a better son... Pray you find peace in your daughter rather than what I became for my mom and dad.

My life is blessed that way too cavan. SA, all the best for the new chapter in your daughters life. She's already got a good start with you in hers.
