Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I had a heartbreak in my 30s that made me shift my desire for weed right into alcohol.

It all comes down to knowing ourselves on an intimate level. And seeing that there’s no external things that can make us happy. When I realized that I can be my best friend is when my life changed.
I’m sorry about the bad relationship. I’m sure that it makes it harder to find peace. Take a deep breath and tell yourself that you are ok and can take care of yourself.
You will do many great things in your life and people will remember you for your determination and your willingness to improve yourself!
Keep us posted. Many can identify with you and will be helped!
God Bless

Dope is not the problem, the problem is our perception of life
