Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Good morning all. Obviously, Mondays are a day of regret for many in this group and a day of triumph for others. For those who drank this weekend, don't quit quitting. Try quitting again today. You can do it. For those who made it through the weekend who are new to sobriety. Congrats. It gets easier now. You'll start to live life on life's terms and it's really cool. Sobriety brings so much free time that you can actually live. You'll stop thinking about alcohol all the time and start living in the moment rather than obsessing over the future. You'll have your day-to-day challenges, but it's so effing sweet to face those challenges with a clear mind. I've noticed that I no longer fear every little thing. Instead, I smile and see what I can do. So sweet not having to drink today. Let's prepare for a great week of sobriety!

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I completely agree with what you wrote. It gets better every day. Mind you, I've been dealing with government entities, fines (relating to my drinking driving accident on June 28th this year) and courts. My drivers license is revoked until August 26, 2015.
Yet, I love life sober! It is almost like looking at a completely different person when I think about what I was doing just a few months ago.
Life is so much better without the booze coursing through my veins. I wish everyone peace and sobriety who wants it.
((( hugs )))
I am not that worried about being sober today or tomorrow.
I am a little worried about the holidays coming up.
But one day at a time - right?
