Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Mondays are bad enough. It’s been a long few weeks. I’ve been working 70-80 hours a week for my job and a secondary client. I think this is manageable.
My oldest daughter has ringworm or scabies. Drs can’t seem to figure it out, she’s itchy as hell and has horrible looking skin. I know what this means for a 17 yr girl. Last night it was 15 mins crying uncontrollably in the shower.
My second daughter is fighting depression and fatigue and health issues while trying to maintain her position as a college/scouted athlete.
My my son is 6 and testing our patience with behavior that we should find amusing but aren’t.
My wife’s aunt was killed in a violent bus crash and now will need to trace to the east coast for this very overwhelmingly emotional service.
My wife is attempting to change jobs and there’s a lot of fear there as she has an outstanding job.
All of this weighs on me of not providing enough or being supportive enough. But I don’t drink. I come here and share and say “I’m having a difficult time.”
We can all do this together.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
