My 19 year old just drove to his brothers in another state today for a summer job. In a truck he bought from a dealer who inspected it and replaced a "brake sensor" before selling it too him, last freakin week!
He just called, as he got there, the brake line blew. He's OK, he's there and we're grateful.
But also a new kinda mad at Mr. used car dealer. It's a good thing I can't call him till Monday, cause right now I might say something I shouldn't!
This is justified, sometimes we have a right, maybe a duty to be a little pissed!

Last week I had a business associate who went back on their word and fabricated a "new reality" to justify it. I was angry that day, but I'm past it now- not worth carrying the baggage.
As for Mr Used Car Dealer? If there was a warranty, send him a bill or ask him for some money. And tell him you and your family buy a lot of used cars!
Talk to them on Monday when you've had time to cool off a bit and try to handle rationally & calmly, you'll probably get better results that way.
Don't go psycho unless you have to. lol!

If the dealer has a reputation for honest dealings, He'll make good on the repairs.
If that doesn't happen, there is always legal recourse. Or you can take out a quarter page ad in the local paper detailing exactly what happened - facts only, of course...
