Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I do a lot of reading here but very little posting.
Last time I posted was in November after I had three major surgeries. All because of my heart.
Well, I made it another year, not only sober but also in the best health of my life. My heart is strong and I feel great.
By living sober and by living the 12 Steps, I not only got through everything but I also remained out of debt. All bills were paid on time.
You talk about miracles, me paying bills on time is a close second to me staying sober.
So on September 4th, I celebrated 21 years sober. And it was also my one day anniversary to being married. Yup, I got married on September 3rd.
I thank my Higher Power everyday for the miracle of life and for giving me the patience to see these things come to life...
Thanks for reading...
