Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

It made me think of another man who is sober 37 years and 79 years old and he talks about stuff he might have learned just days before. Teachable. So key to a happy life.
Oh yeah... come to think of it... he said something on Saturday that I really liked. I'll share it here.
"Depression is the impression left by fear."
It was told to him by an old Jesuit who has since passed. Don't know where he got it from. I hear some priceless stuff in meetings. :-) Gotta love it.
"The key to long term recovery is creation through purposeful growth and passionate living"
I've seen a few people preach serenity to a fault. I don't believe we're meant to go through our whole life "serene and calm". At a certain point, we can reclaim our passion for doing things.
