I owe a huge thanks to the Joe and Charlie tapes and also to the later Joe McQuany videos. I have the set of six DVD's and they have been about the most valuable and helpful resources that I have found over the years.

Interesting to read on that site that the AA big book is the second most sought after book in the world, second only to the Bible....and the original Big Book manuscript is worth over 4 million dollars.

So much good reading on that page from the AA promises to the Prayer of St Francis!

I love the Joe and Charlie downloads and also have the DVDs that PJ54 mentions. They helped me understand a lot with clear and simple explanation, along with a little humour which is never lost in such a serious subject as this.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
