Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
You have to want to be sober love, if you don't want it, you're not gonna get it just cause you need it. Know what I mean?
Prayers for ya.
So let's get real here - you can't be drunk forever. Would you like to figure out how to live a good life without alcohol? Because that's your best option. And it's within your grasp!
It feels like you are very depressed at this time. Do you have a family doctor you can go see? I suggest this for both the depression issues you might have and also, the doc can provide you with medication that will ease your transition from an everyday drunk to being sober. It can and will make you very ill. Please try to find a medical professional to help you at this time. And you will live, if you want to live. Try also to remember all those who love you and care about you...even if they have left you behind because of your drinking. Go to an AA meeting and see if anyone can give you suggestions regarding a program or rehab if necessary. But my first suggestion is that it feels as if you need medical attention now. alice
Personally, I recovered through AA. It's readily available and will work for you if you do what is suggested. If you decide against AA that's fine but find something that will work for you because otherwise you are doomed to continue living the way that you do.
...I have had a couple of calls and brought to emerge where they took me right in.
Thinking about you ...stay strong and good luck
