Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
they dont last forever. You are doing so well,
Keep going,keep going,keep going.
It may be helpful to attend some AA meetings to gain some insight into the disease of alcoholism. With some help you can honestly assess how dependant you are and whether or not you are alcoholic. There may well be other methods of recovery but I can only share on what worked for me.
Fear will easily keep you away from alcohol if you are not alcoholic but if you are obsessing about alcohol and the want to drink is in pole position with the want to get better, something is wrong.
If you are in the early stages of alcoholism, fear will not suffice and you will soon find yourself minimising the risk to drink again. The alcoholic mind is delusional and cannot help itself.
Drinking dreams are not important, it is just your subconscious in action while you are asleep. What does matter is what you do in your conscious world, that is when you are liable to drink again if you have the mental obsession.
Whatever way you choose to address this problem, I wish you well.
