I'm just feeling good, first day of Spring, taught my daughter to shave her legs this morning, grateful to be HERE, just fully here and present and able to document all this great stuff...
Day 400 snuck up and passed me right by, without a peep! Which means I'm not still white-knucking and counting days, haven't been for a while... I'm moving on to counting years...
I gotta reflect, I gotta see how far I've come, you guys, I have FRIENDS now, in real life! I am almost a real girl!! ha ha... I am learning to let go of resentments, and to be more generous and giving, I find myself doing so much more for other people now, and it just keeps pouring right back to me, ten-fold... it's true, what they told you in Sunday School...
I never much liked Sunday school... but it's true... damn it... (ha ha Sunday school blasphemy joke)
First day of Spring. It's a good day for new beginnings. I can see the hostas and the daylilies peeping up out of the soil... I'm going out and dig up some divisions for my girlfren, Mary, she's got a new apartment with a big patch of mud out front... I'm thinking... hostas and daylilies...

It's just after 4.30am Sunday here and I am up early to drive my son to the airport so he can fly from Sydney to Melbourne about an Hour and a half to spend the day with his girlfriend. It's a good feeling to be there for your children because I remember the times I was to hungover or maybe locked up for the night and choose booze before my family. I was never there.And it's like you said I am also grateful to be HERE, just fully here and present.
Congratulations on your 400 days and I hope your day is as colourful and low maintenance as your Daylilies..

I think of this often, especially when I have wanted to drink at night. It will only interrupt my sleep and morning will be here before I know it. How do I want to feel in the morning?
