Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
hi everyone, I’m new to the site. It’s 5 am and I’ve been up for 2 hours because I woke up from my drunken slumber because I almost had to vomit. I drank about a bottle of wine last night. I have had issues from drinking in the past (I’m 23, almost 24 and have two expunged drunk in public arrests under my belt). It’s hurt myself and my relationships too. I’ve been drinking since I was 13. Amount and intensity has fluctuated, but right now it seems that I’m in taking a lot on the weekends. This is bad for me in all ways I think, but mostly for my mental and physical health. I have gerd and ignore the fact that alcohol is not helping me heal myself. I just want to party and have fun I guess. I have pressure from my gerd right now because of the wine and the drunk food I ate. I was a former bulimic for many years so that’s where the gerd came from. I’m so fucking done with this shit :(. I just want to be that person who can say “this is bad for me, I’m done.” I feel so bad for my boyfriend who does nothing but support me. He doesn’t deserve this. I don’t either. Things in my life are good right now, I don’t want to fuck them up. I’m on a slippery slope and just want to be healthy and happy.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Reading your post reminded me of my drinking days also and it also reminded me of how much my drinking tortured the ones I loved the most. I was ready and willing to do whatever it took to stay sober because I never, ever want to hurt them again!
God Bless
