Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
in my experience 1 meeting for me a week, the reason for that coz i never heard the message, can you try and get to more meetings??
this is not a recovery group , its a support group, please dont do what i did n used this as recovery coz it isnt.
i wish u all the best,
good luck :)
On the other hand recovery is a pretty good way to support an alcoholic.
Anyway, I like the fact that you are doing what you can to work on your recovery instead of saying I can't.
Just to clear any confusion, when I said "a few 24 hours", that's AA speak for quite awhile. Yet all any of us really have in the sobriety bank is today!

Do you mind me asking how much you drank daily? Medically supervised detox may be a life saver, literaly, for you, it will be for me when I creep up the waitlist.
Do you you have the AA (blue) "Big Book"? I received mine a few days ago and it's a powerful read for transition from drinking to recovery.
Hang in there, desertgal1
