Hell is to not love anymore.

Someone in an AA group said, From the first day I started this program, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. This person had walked into a room full of love. In recovery, we are spiritual people because we believe in love. We have faith in love.
Love is respect, Love is truth and kindness. Love is being willing to forgive and help others. Love is thinking about how our Higher Power wants us to act. Love is what we do best. We have turned our will and our life over to love..
Prayer for the Day.
I pray that I may love all parts of life. Higher Power, help me seek out love, not material things.
Action for the Day.
Today, Ill think about what I love about recovery. I will share this with a couple of friends and my Higher Power.

Today, Ill think about what I love about recovery. I will share this with a couple of friends and my Higher Power.
And I also remember these three women giggling and laughing and it was real laughter after the meeting and them coming over to me after the meeting and hugging me and kissing me on the cheek and I didnt know what to do .
One of those women I still see today almost 20 years on. And I can say I love her today as a sister a friend. Who would have thought you can have friends that are girls.
I knew nothing about love before I came into recovery just ask my wife, to me love was horizontal. I couldnt let anyone touch me unless I was drinking how sad is that. My disease took so much from me.
But by practising the program in my life Ive been able to turn my life around and today I know a little about love. And I am able let and show people I love them. To long to go into now.
I would never have been able to talk about this once.

maybe, to those who have lost hope. i have known many who were filled with love and fell into "hell" and fought their way out. i agree with your love definition.
Not many people have been to AA meetings I may not have got there myself had I not been sent. But almost 20 years later and still sober and in my dreams awake I am happy I stayed.
Though this is a quote in a meditation book it is a little different from what you have put down.

I think there is a difference.maybe I am missing something in the translation. Well I am defiantly missing something but that's another story.
