Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Are you attending any recovery program? The support was vital for me.
In reality, we become better people by a slow and steady improvement process. We cannot will it or force it. All we can do is stive to be better, and, guess what, we will become better.
I had a sponcer one time tell me this. Continually work on being a better person, but don't forget to enjoy the ride! I think I know what he meant.

Don't count the days sober, count the days happy and/or full of passion and energy for life...
Know that you are cared for and appreciated for who you are today.

Funny isn't it how a bunch of friends online, many of whom have less than five years of sobriety, and in my case dumb as a hoe-handle, can sometimes make a difference with newcomers. A good word and compassionate encouragement can really help.
Some said it couldn't be done.
But keep going as you are going and you'll do great.
