Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

But I do hope that whatever is going on with U in your life, I hope it all works out . I know U are a member of this support group, so I wish U the best...
A: one bite at a time
As an alcoholic I can get overwhelmed very easily. I get that feeling of utter out of control. It's like a pressure cooker and I used to HAVE to drink to deal with these.
Today I just try to step away and take things one small step at a time.

It is easy to become overwhelmed, remember what you can control, and let the other stuff go... you control you.
Good Luck.
That's when I try to stop my stinkin' thinkin' and do a 180 on my attitude.
Make a list of all the good stuff in your life. Revisit Melody Beatie's codependency books. Or get one if you haven't found her yet.
Be with only positive people.
Pray the serenity prayer. I'm big on charts, so I even put my life in the two categories- in and out of my control.
Whatever you need to do to stay sober.
Hugs.
