Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I just wanted to say how grateful I am for all of you. I had been here before in this group but I didn't take action to change.
Im so glad I used Bobinmaine's link that day to get to a zoom meeting. I loved it and I look forward to seeing the group I chose. I attend almost everyday.
Thursday is a month of sobriety for me. I feel better than I can remember feeling in for so long. It's not just acceptance it's like I have a passion for it.
I'm getting things done that I've been putting off. Cleaning my closets and donating things. Getting my taxes taken care of. I kind of blew off doing them 2019.
I'm taking some vitamins to help my neglected body. (Thanks Shiney!)
Anyway. I have a phone interview in the morning. A friend of mine works there and loves it. Just think. I won't have to buy a work wardrobe, I won't have to spend a bunch on fuel for my car. They have benefits. I won't have to leave my dogs home alone all day!
fingers crossed please. I want to go and I need to go back to work.
I also have two tile jobs lined up soon as I finish up my current tile job tomorrow. Thinking about investing in a better saw!
Good luck with the job. I am a craftsman and do a fair bit of bathroom remodeling. I do all the steps and enjoy the tile when it’s something different. I’ve wanted to get a tile saw but my truck is so full of all the other tools that I just use an old circular saw and diamond blade. I only rent one if there are a lot of finish cuts.
Anyway, keep up the positive momentum and you can’t go wrong.
