Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I, thankfully, was not a drunk dialer, but if the phone rang...I'd generally answer thinking I wasn't too bad - ugh - don't miss those mornings or those shameful feelings!
Respect! I give it and I recieve it! Being a good influence for others...I got an email from a co-worker just the other day saying he needed to talk to me. It was very ominous and I had no clue about what..
a day or two later, he sent another and said he thinks he has a problem. I told him I will help him and gave him my number. :)
That felt good!
Merry Christmas my DS family, I'm at my sisters house but will be back after the holidays. Love you all... and to alllll a good night! :)
My anxiety is manageable.
I don't wake in terror of what I did the previous night.
I don't have to worry about whether I will wake up tomorrow.
I don't have to worry about whether anyone can tell I've been drinking.
I can plan on spending time with family instead of planning lies on why I can't.
I will be able to give my niece lots of love on her birthday.
There are lots of reasons. These are a few of the big ones.
Opening my eyes in the morning and not wondering what will hurt and who I may of hurt.
