Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Also the more i concentrate on something( obsess ) the more it becomes all i can think about. The real trick is to start to concentrate on something else. Sit down and write a list of 5 things you are greatful for.
Ask for some help, i couldnt do it on my own. I didnt know how to live with out booze. I needed help.

When I went to the first AA meeting, I learned for the first time about the reasons why I was constantly thinking about drinking, that an alcoholic is someone who has become obsessed with alcohol. I also learned that once I took a drink, I would keep drinking more in order to try and satisfy a craving that cannot be satisfied. Those two simple facts were news to me as I had never heard anyone talking about that before. Suddenly, I knew why I drank in the way that I did and why I had been unable to stop.
Once I had that important bit of information, I had a decision to make. Was I going to struggle on, hoping for the best and forever in a battle with alcoholism? Or, was I going to copy what had worked for those people who were sober and happy? I choose the second option, but that was only the beginning and I had a lot of work to do before I would get what those sober people had.
Which option are you going to choose? If it is the second one, you will need to put sobriety above all else and do whatever is necessary. For me, going to AA meetings for six night per week for three months was the starting point.
The rewards are amazing but they don’t come without a willingness to change, and plenty of work after that. Spicy foods won’t do it I’m afraid - you need face to face help. Don’t give in but instead, take a look at what you need to do in order to recover. You are worth it so don’t drink today - you can deal with tomorrow when it comes.
