Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Excellent. Good going.
I think it has taken me a bit longer to get comfortable in my own skin but it is starting to happen and yes it does feel really to good to be growing!!!
I am looking forward to getting to know myself as well :)
Thanks for posting this! Love it!
I drank for 20 plus years and am recently discovering the "real" me I was boozing/drugging away. It can be pleasant to discover stuff, but also it can be overwhelming at times. Once foot in front of the other. For me it is a slow but steady process.
Forty years of boozing is a long time. Welcome back to life. Hope you will stay oct.
I agree. Much better to *KNOW* you acted like a fool, than to wonder. And even better to really choose to do it, vs that drunken idiot that you can't really remember let alone know.
Great post.
