Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
GOD Willing I'll be sober nine years on 8/22/17. One day sometimes one minute at a time. The program which I call a way of life is blessing me to learn how to live before I die. Im reminded that when I first picked up and used alcohol and drugs is when I stopped growing emotionally. Sometimes if things don't go my way Im like a 9yr. old kid having a temper tantrum and pity party. Thanks to my recovery I am learning how to grow up. There is nothing more important to me in my way of life/recovery than to grow up. further more I've learned that I can only grow two ways, emotionally and spiritually. I've also learned that I must be willing to help another especially some one who may be suffering from the very same thing I have been delivered from. I have to give what I have away to keep it. I'm joined this group to give and receive support to insure my continued recovery and to be a support for others in their recovery.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ
