Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Though I can be a 'lil devil at times.
Too funny.
Have a good day.

It's normal to have those vivid dreams when either coming off drugs or booze for quite a while. They do go away though and they suck while you're having them, no doubt.
Today I believe that lower power was my disease alcoholism. And what used to go through my head I couldn't talk to anyone about. There was a whole lot of sick stuff going on in there.
I tried to make bargains with this lower power but I had nothing to bargain with the lower power had me , hook , line and sinker. I guess that's were the cliches come from I heard in recovery.
Don t go into your head without adult supervision.
Going into my head is like going behind enemy lines.
And to cut a very long story short (That's hard for an alcoholic. lol) in early recovery I was introduced to One who has all power God as I try to understand Him.
And when these sick thoughts or dreams would begin I would say. GOD . GET OUT DEVIL. Over and over and within a short time the dreams disappeared .
Give it a go see what happens. There is so much I have left out but trying to keep it short.
God Bless...

GOD. GET OUT DEVIL.
????
It's not a devil. don't worry about that crap.
G= Group = Group = Good = Get
O= Of = Of = Orderly = Out
D= Drunks = Drug Addicts = Direction = Devil
And so when i was having these Demonic Dreams instead of sitting in them I would invite God in to take them away and He did.
i would just say G.O.D God Get out Devil.The Devil being the Demonic Dreams .
Sorry I am unable to explain it any better.
God Bless...
Lionel
I beg to differ, Bradshaws work, dealing with guilt and shame, put a flood light on the possible causes and conditions in my life, that gave me those bent and twisted realities of life. By the way, they too, are burried, deep in the unconscious.
I would hope that individuals that read material concerning outside mental issues, might try practicing some of those priciples. They work!
Thanks for explaining.
I get them when I am drinking, too. But mostly when I'm sober.
Creapy crap.
