Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I'm sure it is pretty hectic though...like Dianna I would think about cutting back on running but that's just me. Me and my hips and knees are getting too old for all that nonsense ;) And perhaps a commitment to make at least 2/3 meetings regular per week is better than a target of 5. You can always do more and succeed rather than less and fail :)
And post here, talk to us guys...get phone numbers from your local area too. It made a huge difference for me when I started getting closer to individual members in AA rather than hammering meetings but remaining Anonymous.
Congrats on 21 days.

Congratulations on getting past your other attempts (good feelings) which just enhance your determination to stay sober as well.
Me too..if I get by tomorrows 2 week mark...I will be doing well as well.
This is hard...right? But it was harder living like we were living before. I don't want to tell you to stop anything your doing...but I do have in the back of my mind...oh boy..I hope he doesn't burn himself out too much....I guess..like you said...one day at a time.
Balance it out as you go....sounds hard because you can't give up work....AA is helping and so is running. Maybe a weeked get away at some point this summer? And you can look ahead for an AA meeting in the area.
Congrats again!
