Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
congrats on 10 days wtg :)
Have you tried any guided meditation? How about progressive relaxation? PM if you want more info on either of these.

I have never slept well.....I passed out every night for 15 years. The first few months in sobriety, I couldn't sleep at all. I would get up at 4:00 am and go to the grocery store and go in early at work & cook breakfast for my coworkers! How crazy is that? :)
But ya know what? Sleep finally arrived and it is GLORIOUS! OMG! It feels soooo good to wake up after a good nights sleep. Give it some time, you'll get there and trust me...you'll LOVE IT! :)
It gets better and better, but it still takes awhile. Make sure you have some enjoyable activities to fill your time though - idle hands.....you know the rest.
I wake up at least three times every night. But at least when I go to bed, I am actually going to sleep instead of passing out in a drunken stupor. I figure even if I don't get as much sleep as I used to, at least it is real sleep. And of course, no hangover!
