Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Keep hydrated. Water, Gatorade. The brain is bouncing around on your skull it needs water. The disease is one that is centered in my mind. My disease would tell me, just take a drink it will make life better again, and many times I did, but this last time I went to a group meeting of others and found help I found that by asking for help for the first time in my life I was able to tell my disease no. Just when I wanted a drink I would call another person and by talking I could get through it. I couldn't get sober on my own.
Alcohol is a drug. It's very addictive and takes time to get over. It does get better, and fast. After a few more days the physical withdrawal will be over and it then comes down to the mental dependency. That will last my lifetime but it does lessen and become manageable.
You can do this. Cmon

Just think, if you keep on a straight and recovery based path, in a few years while your peers are boasting of how hammered they were or making others people's lives miserable from their unspiritual characters, you'll be thanking God you're much more well off than they, and will be having much better opportunites and experiences than them.
