I hate that feeling. I get that way too if i don't get enough sleep. Anxiety could be for your dentist appt and it can be made worse by being overtired. Hang in there and congrats on 14 days! I have been thinking to myself somedays fly by without a struggle or thought of drinking and some days i have to take it hour by hour.

The anxiety is definitely about the dentist appointment which is probably why I didn't sleep very well. I should have taken a Xanax before I went to sleep. That's why I do on night before I need to get on an airplane.

Rich, I would encourage you to check out "Seven Weeks to Sobriety". It's about using nutritional supplements to alleviate the anxiety, sleeplessness and traditional withdrawal symptoms. I've been doing it about 4 weeks now, and it has really helped me clear my head.

I've appreciate your input as far as my anxiety but I've suffered from anxiety since 2003 and have been on different meds since then.

I am taking some supplements along with my prescription meds and generally my anxiety has been much less but things like dentist appointments are anxiety provoking for me.

Try to rest after the appointment. I know dentists can be scary for a lot of people.

I made it to the dentist without issue. I took a Xanax about an hour before my appointment and another one right before I left to go.

I came home and slept because I was exhausted from the meds!
