Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I wish you the best. Let me know your secrets.
We all just have today. And you never have to drink again, a day at a time.
So what is different this time? Will you get a sponsor? Work through all 12 steps in order? Be as honest as you can be? Those are a few of the things that worked for me.

Last Thursday (07/04/13) I celebrated 9 years of staying stopped. And I firmly believe with all my heart that the only difference between my last "Day One" on July 4, 2004 and all the previous "Day Ones' is the fact that I gave my all to the 12 steps of AA and worked each and every step.
Most alcoholics can stop drinking, so a day, a month, even a couple of years. The hard part is staying stopped. Alcoholics Anonymous gave me the answer to staying stopped.
I hope you can update us as to how your sobriety is going. :)
