Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

You are very welcome to the DS forum.
I am the guy with the boring long posts so I must try to learn from you on how to make it brief
You are welcome to post a little bit more though.

True story. A guy I knew from RL before I ever saw him in a meeting, shared one night that he had gone 15 years without drinking, from one Christmas to another, and then he drank. He didn't say he blew it, or that he felt like a loser. At that moment, as Christmas was approaching, he was excited about spending the holiday at the same place he last drank, 13 years ago.
I've been casual about my drinking for the past few months, going overboard a couple of times, but not feeling like there wasn't another chance. So, I'm excited for everyone who has a day 1, and excited again for your day 2, etc. Best wishes.
