Were going down a new road- in our recovery and our lives. We dont know the road. We only know we are on the right one, because our Higher Power led us here.
We ask for help from those who already know the road. We ask our sponsor. How far is it until I get done feeling guilty? How far is self love? How bumpy is the road when Im at Step Four?
We need the help of people who have been in the program. They tell us where to slow down because this part of the trip is beautiful.
Someday, maybe today, we too will be called on to guide others.

And I didnt wont my past back so there were going to be changers made. I would have to find a new director in my life because I wasnt doing such a good job at it. God was to become the main director but before God it was the other AA members, people who knew the road ahead, people who had not taken a drink for a week, a month and years.
My new guides they all knew something I didnt what lay ahead. Then I found a sponsor who had 22 years of unbroken sobriety who became my main guide along the road of recovery with God as the director and I havent looked back. And from there ESH at least I had some idea what to expect and set goals.
