Is a theory about acid reflux. I think it relates to alcoholism b/c it involves cravings for yeast and carbs. I'm pretty sure I have both. Anybody else heard of it?

That's a new one on me. I take medication for my acid reflux. Works really great. It's called Omeprazole. I take one in the mrning and POW no reflux. But I never had the problem until 4 years ago when I quit smoking and had open-heart surgery. Since then if I don't take my medication, I feel like dying. If you find out anything let me know.

Have had reflux way before I started drinking. Whiskey does not inprove it though. Tried it.

I CRAVE HARD CANDIES ALL DAY, I GO THROUGH BAGS OF THEM EVERY FEW DAYS. AS FAR AS CANDIDA GOES, ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT MADE ME SNEEZE WHEN I OPENED A BEER.
I WAS SO MESSED UP EMOTIONALLY THAT I POURED ALCOHOL DOWN MY THROAT TO DEADEN THE SUFFERING I HAD FROM STOMACH AND ESOPHAGEAL ULCER CAUSING ME SEVERE NAUSEOUSNESS FOR TWO YEARS!!TALK ABOUT ALCOHOL AND DENIAL!!
