Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Iced lemon ginger tea sounds good. I bought some ginger tea bags today but i was thinking of hot tea. Maybe I will try it iced.
And no soda for me either -- I gave it up a couple of years ago to try to have a healthier diet.
For the cooler weather, I'm thinking of some type of spicy apple tea and mixing it with apple cider and/or ginger ale.
When I first stopped, I was craving Coca-Cola (the real stuff.) I also made Coke or root beer floats. Fortunately, after I let my second 2-liter of Coke go flat, I didn't want it any longer. I don't like diet sodas and if I'm craving a float, I can buy a single can of Shasta very inexpensively.
I now primarily drink lots and lots of ice water, but it's fun to get creative when you want an alternative.
New habits in sobriety include reading again. Everything. Most notably I
started riding again in earnest when I got sober. Now I own my own horse and ride 4-5x a week. We are doing great in the 3ft hunters. I'm so grateful to be sober.
I own a juicer - daily juicing is a great idea - I need to pull the juicer out & leave it on the counter :)
