AHH sh*T...did anyone tell you that no major changes during the 1st year of sobriety? You didn't have control over your g/f moving. But, when I read you resigned from your job...I HUGELY identified with that....I had 8 years of sobriety when I decided to resign from my job...and being home to much led me where I am today.

I don't know you...just concerned for you... I know you have a lot on your plate with upcoming fees for your court case...OMG..this is hard. I will pray for you!

Already have a better job, just really hurting since Lisa moved. Once the house is sold I can pretty much do what i want soI may end up down south, who knows.

sorry if you do not use the F word...I am alcoholic and call them like I see them....but ok glad you have better job...where will that allow you to be? if it is florida thats great...I also understand missing our loved ones....I have been divorced since 07 I think and for sure when it was all going south I missed my then wife...now I get annoyed by her texting me with things like watch this TV show or something silly as what she has made for dinner....but I still communicate with her....

PS alcoholics typically drop f bombs...

as much as it hurts...I will tell you what I learned...and you will look back someday at Lisa and realize it was one of these things.

Everyone is put in our lives for a REASON, SEASON or a LIFETIME. the Reasons and Seasons are there to teach us things (to make our lifetimes stronger). She was a reason/season....you will find your lifetime and the things you take from the relationship you had with Lisa..your mistakes, hers..will make your lifetime relationship so much happier.

So other than her leaving...good things are happening....the house is gone...and you have a better job....its hard to not celebrate those things..but you are celebrating them with your sobriety and sharing them with us. Thank you for sharing your Experience, Strength and HOPE.

You piqued my interest. The Bearcats won in OT. Get to see the whole game? Remember it all? A passing nuisance beer thought is worth the price of admission. Hopefully, you moved to the next round of the sober tourney brackets too...
